I took these today, thankfully my camera captured what I was surprised to see as I approached the tower from the south. The way the glass on this project captures light from reflections is beautiful:
Going to have to get you a drone to get some overheads!!I won’t be able to take photos of the top of the tower for much longer.View attachment 475897View attachment 475898View attachment 475899View attachment 475900View attachment 475901View attachment 475902View attachment 475903
I know you're at least half kidding, but The One might be within 1.9km of the heliport at St Mike's, which would make it illegal to fly a drone there.Going to have to get you a drone to get some overheads!!
Hrmm....What is the max distance from such a thing? I have never flown one or looked into it.I know you're at least half kidding, but The One might be within 1.9km of the heliport at St Mike's, which would make it illegal to fly a drone there.
Off topic, but Transport Canada's page links the regulations. Fun fact: you are considered a pilot if operating a drone, so cannot have consumed alcohol within 12 h.Hrmm....What is the max distance from such a thing? I have never flown one or looked into it.
With that being said, wouldn't some of the drone videos posted in other threads along the rail corridor be subject to that same 1.9km, which I would think is within range?
You have peaked my curiosity!
