Today

Photos taken today, Friday (Aug. 29). The top of the tower looks much the same as it did last week when I had my post last Friday, with the blue forms all now at the highest they presumably will go, at the rooftop level 85. One of the external elevators has now been installed all the way to the 84th floor. Lower down, most of the Rail Climbing Systems (RCSs) installing the building's skin have gone up a level, with the east and north RCSs up to level 67, and the west RCS up to 66. The south mini-RCS is where it was last week, floor 65. So now 17 floors short of the top for the skin.

Starting with the view from Yonge and Dundas, up to around Charles, with close shots of the top with the elevator serving the top floor, and the east RCS up to 67. The view from Cumberland east of Bay, with a closer look at the north and west RCSs each up a level from last week. The play of light on the east face followed by views from Yonge and Bloor, including a tighter one of the RCSs on the east and north faces, and a look straight up from the corner. The view from Church and Wellesley; College and Queen's Park; Hoskin by UofT; finally from Bloor near Manning.
