Well, not having posted on the forum for about a week, I took a couple photos of One Bloor West this afternoon; the northwest and southwest corner forms have risen one level each:

Another pile of photos, taken today, Friday (Aug. 15). Progress has been rapid on pouring the corners at the top - all the corner blue forms have moved up a level, to 84, since last Friday - only one more floor until the main concrete portion of the tower is complete! It will be interesting to see if they start quickly on the crown. At this rate, we will be there before the month is out. In contrast, the black Rail Climbing Systems (RCSs) installing the skin are still where they have been for 3 weeks now, on levels 64 and 65, though, again, the mini-RCS on the south side is up a floor, now to level 64. And we do now see the windows for level 65 installed on the south face. Nineteen floors to go. The only other change I see from last week is the top of the external elevator. They seem to have removed the one that went to level 81, they both now top out at level 80.

Starting with the view from Yonge and Dundas, moving up to the view from around Charles Street, including closer peeks at the RCSs on the south side, and the top. Next, to Cumberland east of Bay, including a closer look at the top with the corner scaffolds now at the penultimate level. An out-of-focus high-contrast view of the zig-zag cladding, followed by the view from Bloor, just east of Yonge, then from the intersection itself. Some of the guys working on the tower walked by on lunch break and asked to pose - here's my nod to the crews actually building this thing! Then, a view looking up from the east side, then down to Wellesley and Church for that view, then College and Queen's Park to the SW, with final views from Harbord near St George, and Bloor near Manning to the west.

From October, 2020, as above-ground construction started in earnest at The One (1 Bloor W.) in Toronto. More or less a weekly photo usually taken on a Friday, with some gaps during early-on construction hiatuses. The initial photographs are from 2015, during demolition at the site, 2018, during...

I’m surprised that at this late stage they haven’t picked up speed with the RCS (having had the experience for what -2 years now?).
