With the slow progress now that it’s near the top, sometimes you wonder if they’re still working on it. Here’s a proof that they are.

Here are a couple photos I took of One Bloor West yesterday afternoon; first from King's College Circle, then from Queen's Park:

Although it is hard to visually determine its geodetic height relative to the 360 Restaurant; I used an elevation map to determine the following:

Total height above sea level = elevation + height above ground

One Bloor West (current height) = 132m + 296m = 428m
One Bloor West (final height) = 132m + 308.6m = 440.6m
360 Restaurant = 81m + 351m = 432m

Drove DT today for the first time in about 6 months so it had been a while since I see thing in person. This thing is absolutely stunning in person.

Having that said, it's a shame to see all the stores closed down on the block south of that.

There's an outpost at the India/TIbet border which is ~6000m + 3m; but I'm not calling it the tallest building in the world.
 
...I mean, if sea levels are rising then our towers will start to become shorter. 😼
