I had to pick up a few groceries at one of the stores on the north side and this is what I saw when I came outside. Cell phone cameras are pretty amazing these days!

Good points, Who knows what will happen, but I guess we should know for sure in the next 6 months or so. At this point I could take it or leave it. In this market I am happy to get my $320k deposit back. I will not pay another dime for this unit if they come asking.

Has this question come up before?
Why did they leave the white protective material for this one area? Is there any logic for this pattern? Obstructions? Effort? Assuming the former retailer wanted it all covered until opening.

Photos taken today, Friday (Feb. 21). As we can see above, the rest of the super column forms have moved up to work on levels 79/80 as work progresses on the tower since I posted last Friday. Looks like they are doing the floor for 79. Also as seen in mburrrr'ssss post above, some of the scaffolds working on the corner sections have risen, all but the SW corner, I think. That would suggest they are doing the corner floors for level 71, so we can expect the next set of hangers to go up soon as that's where the floor attachments for the hangers will be. Lower down, all the Rail Climbing Systems (RCSs) have gone up a level since last week, as they install the building's skin. The east RCS is now at level 55, the north and west RCSs at 54, the smaller one on the south side at level 51.
A full suite of shots, starting with the view from Yonge and Dundas to the south including a similar shot to mburrr's of the top, then a totally planned shot from around Dundonald with the two birds. From Charles east of Yonge, and a closer look at the south face around the RCSs. The view from Bloor by Holt Renfrew a block to the west and a closer look at the top and of the north and west RCSs. The view from Cumberland east of Bay, also including a look at the top as the corner forms go up with work for the 79th floor visible, and another view of the north and west RCSs. Then the view from the NE corner of Yonge and Bloor, and a bit to the east as crews tear up the sidewalks on the north side of Bloor there. Finally, the view from Queen's Pk Cres W by Hoskin, to the SW, and finally the view from the west at Bloor and Dundas.

Waiting for Great Gulf to turn over the Building Maintenance Unit on the roof, after they repair it. Hopefully we can get the windows cleaned in the spring.@BloorMan speaking of dirty windows, how often do they clean the windows? I moved a couple levels below you and they are filthy. Makes me wonder if they were ever cleaned!
