Is there a dedicated thread for the park?

No, looks like we'll just be following it here. To be fair, it's very much connected to the work on the market, including what is supposed to be integration of Market Lane Park's sidewalk treatment into the forecourt in front of the market and in between the market and St. Lawrence Hall.

For reference, the intention is to create an eventual St. Lawrence District that connects David Crombie Park to a park where the Saturday market tent is, up Market St through Market Lane Park encompassing both north and south markets and St Lawrence Hall, and towards St. James Park.

This would be nice, a space without cars elbowing their way in.

^...and hopefully sometime in our lifetime. >.<

I guess mburrrrr-san is keeping us posted... 😼

As promised (!!). (I assume they are LED Victorian pedestrian lighting poles.)The project is proceeding and we will start seeing specialised crews come and go as they are needed. Let's stop the 'there's no work going on here' posts for a while.
And to be fair though, there where...er, several stoppages with the building next to this under the same owners. So naturally folks are going to feel a bit nervous when no activity is apparent here. >.<
