I saw this on another forum and thought it was funny.

Leafs vs. Panthers game #1 is set for Monday at 8:00 p.m., whispers that they pushed it late to manage the crowds at the tailgate party from disrupting rush hour traffic, both on the roads and the TTC.

Game #2 is still TBD both date and time, though you can already buy a re-sale platinum seat ticket for around $2,000.00 on Ticketmaster (plus HST).

Melting down right on cue. Nothing to see here.

The officiating and the league’s player safety department seem to favour the Panthers. That’s just the impression I get from watching and following the series. The Panthers get away with too many unsafe and illegal plays compared with the Leafs for it to be a coincidence.

Bennett should have been suspended for what he did to Stolarz, even if it was unintentional. It looked grossly negligent to me at best. He’s a professional hockey player. He ought to know that an elbow to the head can cause serious injury.

When the Leafs try their hand at playing the same dirty style like with Domi last night, they get burned with penalties and a fine.

If the league can’t achieve fairness on the ice, then it’s failing at its core business. I don’t know how anyone intelligent can keep watching this trash the way it is now. I’ll only say that if the Leafs take this series, then one might as well keep watching because to overcome a situation so heavily skewed against your team would truly be a wonder on a different level.

The league has seen southern teams fail like the Thrashers and the Coyotes, despite being in lucrative markets. I get it. They don’t want it to happen in Miami. But that shouldn’t be the Leafs’ problem.
