Yesterday, from my part of town. (taken with my camera)

Galittos is highly highly recommended
I've passed by that place so so many times over the years, thanks for the suggestion!

As an aside, upon viewing this site yesterday from my local plaza, I was shocked. This is really becoming prominent now across Mississauga.

I've never noticed any of the buildings in the 'downtown' from that plaza until now.

You have to enjoy some heat. Their vegetables are to die for.

I also would have told you to wave goodbye to your plaza but I guess developments grinded to a halt. So it might still be there in 30 years.

More up on my site.

This was unplanned photo shoot late in the afternoon after the rain had stop. It making itself standing out in the skyline more and from new locations I need to check out. It maybe top off by August-Sept and will remain the tallest tower in the city for at least 2-3 decades if not more until someone decides to build something taller. GTTA will have something to say on the next tower depending if it is in the flightpath.

You’re beginning to sound like those city councillors who used to tell you nothing would ever surpass absolute towers.

The opposite. Look how long it took Absolute to take place and it only happen as it was a world wide contest.

If you look what is on the books for future developments, nothing over 70's now. Look at Toronto to see how long it took it to get an 100's tower considering the numbers that were up worldwide before the one that is getting built now. How long has it been for the first US 100's was built??

Based on the current market conditions, you are looking at least 2 decades before the next one is built and cannot be in the current flightpath of the airport as 2 proposal have been shot down by the GTTA already which is dumb as the planes are higher now on takeoff and a few 1000's feet higher than the proposed 70's tower.

The city wanted building slopping up to the tallest towers at Duke of York and nothing taller than those towers other than 2 50's for Parkside Village area in the city until M City came along.

Hazel and council would say the sky was how tall a building could be built in the city, but developers were taken into the backroom and told what they wanted in height as well density. I have said for a long time that the only place to put people in the cities is in tall towers more than 60's tall.

I guess there’s just the 70s proposals of exchange south, of the petro Canada station, of the medical clinic area of rathburn and hurontario. That’s three off hand. I’d expect one of those to eclipse this building.
