They will get horribly stained as time goes on though, that's the only problem. Not easy to clean with all those ridges.

Might risk breaking or chipping the corrugations but yes it is possible. I don't see them springing for that sort of treatment on a regular basis however. So expect it to look extremely dirty after a time.
