I was not implying that- I was making a point that you want to paint a picture of these people as complete victims when they have had ample chance to find different situations to live. When talking about homelessness we cannot just lump everyone together. There are 2 different kinds, one is genuinely down on your luck and screwed by the system. The other is a series of poor descions x drug usage which is sadly the majority of cases when it comes to homelessness. )… when in reality, that would mean cleaner and safer streets and either shelter with strings attached or go to a free rehab and addiction program (which yes Ontario offers that). But you would rather in your extreme version individualism let them continue to break the law, fall deeper into addiction and cost the tax payer more and more money because that’s their “human right” or whatever. Sounds so “compassionate”.
