I didn't plan on shooting Hurontario today but since I was aloft anyway to shoot the hospital demolition, here are a few shots for those interested.

Monday will bring some surprises to those who use the southbound lane for traffic and transit between Fairview and Dundas as the the curb lane will be fully open.

Paving underway today on Sunday with John St close and paved with the section up to Hillcrest almost done. The south corner of Hillcrest was mill leaving Agnes to be done later today. Bus stops should be back in their original locations on the sidewalk.

Excavation is done for the guideway on the north side of Fairview with weeping tile in place and mostly graded. The 2 excavators are working from opposite ends and by the look of the south end, it is deeper than anything I have seen to date. Could be wrong, but been deeper will reduce the grade slope compare to the road that a training wall for the road will have to be built for that area.

Dundas has more material on the north side and will keep the curb lane close for some time.

Depending on the weather over the next few days, paving will take place this week from the Queensway to the North Service Rd.

Very large frames up for the eastbound 401 off ramp with poles up for the westbound ramps.

Saw nothing new for the OMSF and did not look at the 407 bridge.

Some unedited shot from today

Thanks @drum118 . I didn't directly photograph it yesterday but I noticed that the base appears ready for installation at South Service road.

Had a look at it a few days ago and it was stripped and ready for the equipment to be place on the bases, but did shoot it.

This was the closest I came to it. I was running out of battery after shooting Trillium hospital and Credit River bridge and it completely slipped my mind until after I landed.

Took a quick trip south of Hurontario this morning before going where I had to go for the day. I see only a small section of the southbound lane was able to open to John St, with the sections south of John St still close with paving missing at Agnes corner.

Paving was well underway for the northbound lane from the North Service Rd to The Queensway. Form work was used at the Queensway area in place the curb machine and it was been poured.

Coming home tonight and having to go to Dundas, ran into the southbound lane at Burnhamthorpe intersection that was down to one lane. By the look of the setup for the station area, concrete is going to be pour for the platform this week, subject to weather.

The guideway north of Fairview is ready to have the road curb pour for it up to where it currently stop.

Most of the excavation is done south of Fairview that they are now removing the rest of the asphalt up to the bridge.

Agnes corner.is now paved with the road close sign removed. With this done, stripping is needed to open that close section this week.

No photos.

Drove southbound and saw the curb machine setup to form the guideway curb starting where id ended for Central Pkwy intersection on Thursday. Lots of trucks dumpling off material to back fill the area south of Fairview with some guide stacks in place for the southbound curb. Was planning on stopping off to had look Thursday night before heading home, but came home late an too dark to have a look

Noticed a lot of cable laying in the guideway south of King St with trap on some of it

Dec 13
The southbound curb from CP to Fairview poured and cover up, but only 50% poured for the northbound one. Pouring of the southbound curb was underway with most of the guideway based graded, with work taking place on the rest and it will not deeper like I saw it a few days ago.

Coming home, the Burnhamthorpe platform was poured due with all the manpower for the guideway work south of CP. There had to be over 2 dozen personal working on the guideway today. Only expect the southbound curb will be done today as a lot of the northbound not ready for it yet.

Early next week will see paving done to fill in the gap between the curb and road to allow 2 lanes to be open for the winter months. Duct work take place as well.

Had a look at the 407 bridge to start the day off and haven't miss a thing since my last visited as it is still the same as before. Next visit will be in February or March and may see more work done.

Came home by the QEW to have a look at the corridor tonight. Other than striping, the curb lane is ready to be open from the North Service Rd to the Queensway. Curb poured for the fire station area and may see paving next week.

Agnes corner is open for both directions, but the southbound lane is still close up to John St.

The guideway curb just north of the CP pier protection to Fairview fully poured and covered. Don't know if they work late last night as floodlight on by the bridge or it was completed today. The missing guideway section curb for the northbound lane between Fairview and CP still missing.

Unedited shots from today for the 407 only as it was the only thing I shot as rain was coming down coming home.

These are from Jan 2nd, just quick shots from a ZUM bus going into Brampton, apologies for the quality, these give an overview of two three sections of the line north of the 403, and closer to the 401

First, two shots a few streets north of Eglinton, looks like tracks are coming in, but lots of work needed before getting to final pours and finishes

There is nothing wrong with your photos been shot from a bus at this time of year and are welcome.

Trackwork north of Eglinton has been that way since the summer to the point, various sections of track about 3-5m have been cut out where the ties are embedded in the concrete with the rail laying there. Those sections where rail has be cut must be the areas where the track gauge problems are. Next to no work has been done on the 401 overpass in a year for trackwork

Dec 18
Had to go to Brampton downtown and wasn't expecting to see any work taking place along the corridor and how wrong I was. No less than 4 surveyor crews were checking the guideway with out track to where track was place and waiting to be anchor by concrete or embedded in concrete. I expect work is taking place a night to install the fault formwork for the bridge when the 407 lanes can be partly close for the formwork as I haven't seen anyone working there in the daylight in a long time.

I will leave this to the Brampton folks, but saw material being moved from the 407 area to 2 construction area north of Ray Lawson. What got me was seeing a forklift with a pile of fencing on it north of Ray Lawson and not sure if the crew was removing the fencing or relocating as there was no fencing from that area to the south side of Ray Lawson. No idea what that area look like today.

Dec 20
Crews were placing traps in the guideway from Central Parkway to the CP bridge as well from King to Paisley.

Dec 31
Took a walk to King to get some grocery and saw no change between King and Elm, but the southbound lane from the CP bridge to Dundas have been ready to be open for the last 2 weeks, but still block off.

All my photos up to Nov 30 are now on line and still running a month behind on my Dec photos with a 1,000 still to be done.

It will be interesting next week if work is taking place on the guideway that is currently trap. If there is work, it will be installing duct banks and utilities work, but no idea, it could be this month or next when we hear an update on the line when the public on line meeting happen. I thought going down to Port Credit on Jan 1 to see what has been completed, but never made it ad not a high priory for me these days.

I shot port credit at the end of the day on Dec 31 @drum118 but those shots will take a little while to be posted as I have a ton of stuff from Dec 26, 27, 29 and 31to post.

Thanks

I fail to note I did see one change on my walk to King on the 31st and that was a section of sound barrier wall installed on the east side by the townhouse south of Fairview that block off the stair and access to the complex as well access to/from the side street. To gain access to Hurontario as well get to the Fairview bus stop, you now have to go south about half way the complex to a walkway to the street. Don't know when this took place, but that opening was still there on Dec 13 when I was down there and have never paid attention to it from then to the 20th while driving.

I see you are have some of my issues for getting things on line as it doesn't take much to get a backlog based on lack of time as well how many photos/videos were taken.

I haven't recover from my 2 week trip in August as well a number of days I was shooting over 300 a day. In past years, it took me a month to get caught up, but not this year.

The only thing I expect to see for PC is the completion of the Mary Fix Creek channel and possibly more retraining wall between the guideway and Hurontario up to Englewood. Don't want QQ bay tunnel issues there

I just uploaded photos up from Dec 1-Dec 4 that I was to do at the end of 2024 with Dec 8 waiting to be number and uploaded. Still leaves 800 to go to close out 2024 that saw me shoot 24,000 photos and 88 videos.

December 27th - two shots looking north and south from The Queensway intersection. Not much change from December 6th.
