Sorry for the blurry pic, the cloud just came out of nowhere. Taken during descent into Pearson.
There needs to be a lot of trees on this side of Dupont to help with traffic calming. I saw 2 accidents in 2 hours a coupe of weeks back. One at Galleria and one at the intersection at Dufferin. The trees are in along Dupont which will make a big difference. On 16 May.

Are the electrical poles "temporary"? Are there "underground" wiring that has to be switched on before the poles removed? Or did the "fiscal conservative" have a cheaper decision? The trees are in along Dupont which will make a big difference. On 16 May.

Thanks man!^Great image. And a green roof!
Great pic! Judging by your username and two different pics coming into Pearson in short order…I’m guessing you fly for a living or have to fly a lot in the course of your livingI was hoping to do a redo soon of my last pic of the project from above. I was able to capture it today while landing into Pearson. The green tiles from the community centre “pop” looking down from above.

No idea why it’s not mandatory to move these wires underground when building projects of this scaleThere needs to be a lot of trees on this side of Dupont to help with traffic calming. I saw 2 accidents in 2 hours a coupe of weeks back. One at Galleria and one at the intersection at Dufferin.
I also noticed the wires right outside the tower sag very low. Some are already close in height to the planted trees.
I actually tried once - It was easier for construction to bury the lines and use fly forms on the lower levels of the building. Toronto Hydro wouldn't let us even if we paid them for it. They wont allow only one segment of a line to be buried unless the entire length of the line is buried underground. Reason for this is if there's an outage in an area they have to send two crews (the above ground crew and the underground crew) to deal with it, extending outage time. Their mandate is to keep power flowing, nothing else matters. No idea why it’s not mandatory to move these wires underground when building projects of this scale
