Unfortunate they went with "Fairbank," "Science Centre" and "Keelsedale." It's typical Metrolinx. More concerned with branding than utility.
Having Don Mills be named Science Centre is a big mistake imo. Don Mills is such a major road artery.
Except for the station at Yonge, which is absurdly named "Eglinton". I can't believe how idiotic this is.
A Don Mills station already exists? This must be a joke rightWhether you think it is a good idea or not, Metrolinx is trying to avoid repeat station names.

aka line 4On Sheppard Line.
oky doky. I always forget about that Sheppard lineOn Sheppard Line.
Thankfully, the TTC is in charge of naming that station. The TTC has proven themselves to more competent than Metrolinx's moronic staff, when it comes to naming stations, so I'd expect them to put their foot down and tell Metrolinx that the station will be called Eglinton-Yonge.
You are aware that's not the name of that station, right? The same TTC who came up with names like Black Creek Pioneer Village Station...

which they quickly remedied. Not sure why you think people are going to keep using that name.So now the TTC is not immune to wacky names.

Where do you get this?the only reason the TTC changed from Black Creek Pioneer Village to Pioneer Village is because of the design of the station and the stylized name wrapped around the top of the structure, "Black Creek Pioneer Village" was too long to work and needed to be shortened. The TTC had the full intent to use that as the actual station name.
