I'd argue there's nothing wrong with a structure looking like it's from the era when it was built. Especially in this instance: Eglinton West station is a Modernist classic. Just like the other 1970s Spadina Line stations, the architecture is as striking as it was the year it was built, and unlike some of the others which are due for restoration, the finishes here are in quite good shape.
The Line 1's Eglinton Station's station box is supposed to be shifted north.
