The closest thing I can think of is Spencer Gifts in Dufferin Mall - alternative fashions, crass, offensive T-shirts, and a bunch of smut in the back!

I like Spencers but they are focused alot on drug paraphernalia which I guess has a market but I would rather see something that makes Ron Jeremy and Mia Khalifa feel disgusted.

I thought Le Chateau was dead and buried? Man I miss shopping there and frequently finding funky items...30 years ago 😮

And an actual toy store opening?? I'm pleasantly gobsmacked.
Le Château has specialized in prom & occasional dresses for years now even before they just became a small section at Suzy Shier. Definitely not their old self. 😥

St. Germain Bakery is open.

No, when it was a mini Starbucks there were windows. Based on the aroma on Yonge they are baking away behind that wall.
It's actually a well-oiled production line spread out over their two TEC storefronts. The Yonge-facing former Sbux looks after all the baking (buns, cakes, etc) and the Dundas-facing location produces all the drinks, which is why you'll see the employees walking back and forth with carts all day long. It's also why the Too Good To Go pickup is at the Yonge location only, as that's the main hub for baked goods.

The musical chairs continue - Lacoste has opened in the former Abercrombie Kids space. After renovations, Pandora will be relocating into the former Lacoste space next door to their current location.

Lease must have been up. They've always maintained that location, even though they have the flagship store/office across the street, because it did well.
But they are trying to cut costs by closing stores and laying people off.

Been gone for about a month or so. It shut before GameStop sold its Canadian operations so it was definitely a product of them cutting down- they were doing that around the GTA for a good year until they sold it out

They've been doing it across the country. I expect they will continue to do so to reach some measure of stability, especially in areas that have higher minimum wages.

I was going to post that as well. Really does feel like musical chairs in that section.
