I like the white brick and precast. The spandrel fest on the (east side? ) is probably cost cutting in anticipation of a development going up right beside it
All those windows on the east facade are fake?!!! I should have known given how relentlessly repetitive and generic it looks.
At least it’s better than a blank stucco or panelled wall, but there is a laneway (not sure if it’s public or private) adjacent to it so why can’t there be windows on that side of the building? Beyond the laneway there is a newer four-storey condo building, with retail and a tire store/auto shop on the ground floor, so there’s no chance for any new development next to it.

The signage for the tire/auto shop (Active Green + Ross) is oddly on the other side of the laneway and just feet in front of the east facade. I’m guessing this will be eventually moved.

This looks... good? Am I allowed to say that?

You are........but I may have to disagree.

I think for Marlin Spring/ G+C this is mostly, surprisingly good.

But when I look at the pics above and think........ok, the brick isn't bad, the windows aren't bad.......

Then I see those white panels and inserts going in/on near the corner...............and think......that's the Marlin Spring/ G+ C I know........ even when they're close to getting it right....
