Yep it is a cool day in hell but I actually think these buildings turned out pretty good considering how much hate we gave on them the podium is absolutely monstrous but with the height of the towers it tones it down just enough
In some future dystopia, an oligarch can use it for his, or her, citadel.

Yup. I was pretty vehement in my contempt for this one, but oddly enough, more of it seems to have subsumed all its parts into one big 'meh'.

If you shove crap down people's throats long enough they will eventually become de-sensitized to how primitive and dreadful it is. Torontonians view stuff like this as passable because we're swimming in mediocrity; or worse. Travel to a world city like Singapore, Sydney, London and then come back here. When you step back off the plane, it's incredibly jarring.

Imagine this going up in Sydney. Sydneysiders would scream bloody murder. But Toronto? "It's not that bad! An improvement over what was there! More housing!" As far as Toronto has come, we have a LONG LONG way to go before we can call this a world city on par with those I listed. And don;t get me started on our concrete sidewalks/overhead electrical.
