High profile threads grow much faster today than in the 2000s. UT membership is also higher and contributions come from anyone willing to take out their phone and take a few pics.
This thread started before the first iPhone hit the market and pics were generally uploaded from 8 or 12 megapixel digital cameras. We're really spoiled by the photo updates we get nowadays.

Toronto was also a completely different city when this thread was started. CIBC Square would look so out of place in the 2006 skyline.

I'm frankly surprised she's still with us. I appreciated her work in the biology/anthropology field many years ago, still do.
