Feels like we where a bare bones city back then... 🙀
There's pros and cons to both eras IMO. Toronto in 2000 was cheaper, far less congested, entertainment district was still thriving and we were not in the midst of a major housing/homeless crisis. However, the waterfront and much of the downtown core was in need of some major redevelopment which it has since rightfully seen, though the quality of that development remains debatable.

So many people thought the North Market building was open on Sunday while we were catching some rays for 10 minutes with Lola. Maybe they should close Metro and keep the north and/or south market open 7 days a week. :)
