This literally looks inspired by the inside of a prison common area...what on earth is this non-sense.

Calls to mind the famous quote: "We shape our buildings and afterwards our buildings shape us"...

Not sure what kind of citizens this kind of crap architecture is meant to shape...but I guess we'll find out! 😳

As I said previously, before I had seen the interiors.

That this school actually looks slightly above average by new Ontario school standards demonstrates the terrible state of public architecture.

Since I haven't seen it mentioned in here, related to the school is a proposal passed last year (Sept 2024) at community council to close Croatia St to vehicles between Brock and the driveway into Brockton Stadium, with some of the rationale being the Dufferin Mall attracts drivers to use that road, and closing it to vehicles will help make it safer. I seem to remember hearing/reading the school will have classes cross the street to use the field.

It's part of the "Wallace Emerson Neighbourhood Streets Plan" and is supposed to be "timed to align with the commissioning of Collegiate Road".
Here's the report it was part of: https://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/mmis/2024/te/bgrd/backgroundfile-248501.pdf
