good thing for the residents that this project will move faster. at least hopefully for them. from what ive seen the demoviction didnt do good for any of them, lots of them with a very limited budget, but i guess thats what happens to most people in this situation when you live in toronto
 
I rode around this area over the weekend and saw the three low-rise apartment buildings fenced and boarded. Just went to check the proposed development and BLECH. I consider myself a YIMBY but is it any wonder that neighbours get upset when this monolith is the type of development that get proposed? Just a huge flat building flush to the sidewalk with no street level retail.
