I like it. Light and airy with lots of depth. Nice symmetrical grids and window alignment on all sides. While I think the toothpaste was more of a spec error vs an intentional choice, it doesn’t really bug me now that the entire structure is clad.
I do wish the podium gold bits were a bit brighter and more metallic, but that’s really just splitting hairs.
Occupancy of the units here must be soon. And the passageway from Queen to the plaza is accessible. And of course a cinnamon roll with pistachios and coffee from Panemor. Taken 19 November.
Taken 14 February. This is 747 units plus however many hotel rooms go into the podium. This one building has more condos than most US downtowns will add in total this year! And a little street art/obligatory coffee stop at Versus.
Perhaps someone could shed some light on the reasoning here, but I really don't understand why there are no trees (or spots for trees) along Queen St. in front of this building.
On both of the north-south streets on the flanking sides, there trees (or spots for trees), but along the significantly more prominent, and seemingly deeper/wider Queen St. frontage, there is nothing.
