Visually more interesting than 80% of what we usually get. They even managed to make toothpaste green (which I detest) look good.

I like it. Light and airy with lots of depth. Nice symmetrical grids and window alignment on all sides. While I think the toothpaste was more of a spec error vs an intentional choice, it doesn’t really bug me now that the entire structure is clad.

I do wish the podium gold bits were a bit brighter and more metallic, but that’s really just splitting hairs.

Has there been any digging at the Queen and Church development? I don't want to bump its thread and it is visible in these photos haha
 
Perhaps someone could shed some light on the reasoning here, but I really don't understand why there are no trees (or spots for trees) along Queen St. in front of this building.

On both of the north-south streets on the flanking sides, there trees (or spots for trees), but along the significantly more prominent, and seemingly deeper/wider Queen St. frontage, there is nothing.

What is the thinking/ reasoning behind this?
