It's the developer, not the architect. Most architects can produce capable designs. And especially when you see a prominent firm make a crap design, it's the developer cheaping out. This has been explained many times on this forum.

So according to the Updated Toronto Neighbourhood Map Strachan/King is in West Queen West. Having lived there I feel it is more Liberty Village and King West but the redevelopment of so many properties on Strachan and The Bentway are changing that. The addition of retail on Strachan at Liberty will create a very strong node. Interesting!
