That was a deal Vandyk made with Metrolinx. A deal you've correctly identified didn't seem to have been put on title and therefore didn't survive.

The Zoning By-law Amendment proposes a 55 and 51-storey mixed-use buildings with a total gross floor area (GFA) of 75,333 square metres including 237 square metres of retail GFA and a floor space index (FSI) of 20.8. The proposal provides 1,174 residential units, 108 vehicular parking spaces within a three level underground garage, 891 bicycle parking spaces and a 381 square metre POPS. Glad to see the Ontario Government is "serious" about the AODA.

They cant even adhere to their own accessibility timelines.

I wont what the completion date over here will be...2034? +/- a couple years.
I was just responding to the question about whether mimico station could be improved in the meantime. Metrolinx’ delivery on major projects/promises is atrocious, I agree with you, but at least the design is progressing.

To build a tunnel from Manchester St underneath a live rail with minimal cover, along with shafts for elevator to the platforms between active lines is an engineering challenge. Not an easy project to construct.
