Truck and materials access is literally the reason Ferguson has been closed to traffic. To accommodate THEM! It's not difficult.
Also, could they sweep the lanes daily? It's a mess with mud and stones. It's not difficult.
This has been reported to the city. They have advised they will speak with the site manager and enforce if they view this occurring. Haven't been by since they started, so I didn't even think about the mess.

Lots of progress:

No photo (for obvious reasons), but driving along Cannon, the columns of the building are now easily visible above the construction hoarding.
I just bicycles past on the Forge ride yesterday, and saw where they're at, the first floor is taking quite a while! Hoping to see forms for the second floor soon!

Small grumble, but considering the project has closed Ferguson for the purpose of construction staging, I'm not sure why a flatbed truck delivering rebar parked in the bike lane yesterday morning. A pair of cyclists arrived at the obstacle at the same time and needed to both detour into the vehicle driving lane, with the oncoming guy sort of popping out unexpectedly into oncoming traffic. Everyone had enough room it wasn't a close call, but, guys, isn't this what Ferguson's closure for construction staging was supposed to avoid?

If you see this, please take photos and either send them to me, or report it to by-law. Because the lane blockage is directly attributable to the development though, the city can usually fine the developer directly and it's more than the fine for parking in the bike lane because it's about site plan control.
