The misunderstanding was obvious as it played out. She gets flustered, staff across the room indicate no, she immediately agrees, and eventually says "they changed their minds on me".

I've never seen clips of her posted before and she does have some oddball moments, so maybe it's just a coincidence but a little peculiar that multiple clips of Saxe get posted in the same day by different people, the day before candidates announce they're running for council.
 
An honest mistake is an honest mistake, there's no question there, but it's the immediate "they changed it on me" after a lengthy deputation against the item that have folks rightly questioning things.

I'd also take a damn step back from the obvious implication that Gabe Blanc is behind some sort of smear campaign on the eve of his sign up.

There is no part of me that thinks Blanc or his team was up to this and if anything I think he looks like a great and exciting candidate with a lot of integrity. There's also 2 other candidates registerd already for Ward 11 so it's weird you think it's an obvious implication.

Saxe won by such a slim margin (123 votes) she's always had unhappy constituents but she's also irritated some, so there are people who want her voted out. I'm saying it's not implausible that that she has critics looking to help make that happen. I think it's bizarre to see almost no one paying attention to her at committees and council meetings all this time and then see multiple clips painting her in bad light the day before the election kicks off. Like I said maybe it is just coincidence, but that doesn't mean it's not peculiar too.
 
163m tall... this one will be just as if not more prominent than 1 Delisle, which is already helping to bridge the gap between yorkville and midtown.
