Does anyone know more about the sale of this site and the story? I know the Jewish synagogue community adjacent owned it (bought it from the Lutherans) and sold it to In8. Was it a straight cash sale or did they also pre-arrange in the sale to own some of the condos once the project is completed? I know the All Saints Anglican community sold their historic building to a developer for a combination of cash and future ownership of condos in the completed building. Wondering if the Jewish community did something similar, especially for community members struggling to find housing that's a sabbath-walking distance from the synagogue.
