Driving by on the 417 these are quite a bit nicer than the first tower. I didn't speak highly of them on SSP a couple months ago but seeing them in person today largely complete on the exterior I think they show better in person than in photo. The vertical burgundy stripes are a nice touch. I appreciate the subtlety. These definitely aren't charwhites despite kind of falling into that color palette. The materials look high quality even as you zip by on the highway.

I think I prefer the skinny Westgate tower over P1 of this project but these are quite a bit nicer than the Westgate tower. I wouldn't say I dislike the P1 beige precast tower but it doesn't do anything for me.

All 4 of these towers are a mile better than the white topped 16/18 floor towers just on the other side of the highway.

Be kind of sad to see a pause in development here after a solid 5 years. Hopefully that tower next to the old ziggy zaggy balcony gets approved and going. Or.. got forbid the rest of Westboro.

Whats the deal with these mall redevelopments anyways? Elmvale has plans for several towers in their parking lot. The cute but short midrise has been done for a while now. Also the slightly related pair of towers addressed Othello but bordering St. Laurent.

They flatted Lincoln Fields and have arguably done more harm than good by building a stand alone Wendys, Metro and Rexall. LF really aggravates me. I don't know if anyone caught this story.

Wasn't I just bitching and moaning the other day on either here or SSP about new management taking over that building next to the pedestrian crosswalk on the parkway leading into the backside of the station? and fencing off all the property forcing a big walk around.

LF has so much potential. Look at all the connections it has around it. Yet there hasn't been a tower built there since the USSR was alive and well. And clearly giving us apartment block construction inspiration seemingly.
