The first major step in a rejuvenation of a desolate area.
This building will do lots for the area but I will start feeling encouraged when I see all the parking lots disappear and the park starts getting built too.
How much longer before we see gravel moved off site? I wonder f they need to replace all the top soil from decades of dripping oil, gas from all the vehicles. You won't have to wait much longer
I'd imagine a lot of surface soils will have to be removed so that the site can be graded to whatever the design is and prepped where infrastructure is placed. How much longer before we see gravel moved off site? I wonder f they need to replace all the top soil from decades of dripping oil, gas from all the vehicles.
Beyond the other proposed developments around the warehouse park, I'd love for a completed Phase 2 to eventually spur some momentum like what happened in Oliver to get two major Jasper ave parking holes filled:
-Lot #32 10605 Jasper Ave adjacent to First Candian Place
-10745 Jasper Ave between Peace Hills & bank/el furniture
I know the status/ownership of these lots has been discussed prior, probably the current hold up. I'm talking 5-10 yrs
