I get it, but still, areas on 121st and Kingsway, capilano, etc. have been done, but Downtown, the Leg, UofA, Whyte and other key areas nada...

Baffles me, but telling I suppose.

Not surprising. I have felt for several years now that there is no real strong advocate for downtown at the higher level of our city government.

I feel they just focus on dealing with problems, but not much more and sometimes not even that. There is an election coming up, so hopefully that can be changed.

City is hiring! Ian? You in?

Downtown, UofA, Whyte, our provincial legislature area basically untouched.

Absolutely insane.

Ian, we all know that The Uplands is a higher importance.

Not like the roads are covered in gravel year round from only 20% of the community being built and there constantly being construction and dirt from it.

109th started today. Jasper east of 109th is scheduled. West of 109th on Jasper is apparently done...they're making progress Ian. It's actually a good thing I'm not in town driving around or else my head would be exploding

Walking downtown today with the wind it is a mess and people are getting hammered by dirt/dust due to the lack of cleaning. But at least light industrial roads are done and random hoods... who cares about those folks coming in to town for conferences, business investment or everyday workers who frequent sidewalks in the core.

I saw West Jasper Ave being swept on Monday night.

I emailed Janz, knack, and Stevenson about it today. Let’s put the pressure on them.

And now the long weekend....so ZERO.ZERO street cleaning done from Friday till Tuesday of this week.

Well hopefully today....isn't that 4000 person Hydrogen Convention downtown this week? Starting tomorrow?

How was the Earth Day - Downtown - cleaning day turn out today Ian? DT looking spik and span right now?
