So Christmas Eve day and I was building a snowman with my little one on my postage stamp size of a front yard in Erin Mills and had the Mini3pro up recording. I wanted to run down the battery so not far as the crow flies is 1959 Folkway drive, pictured below (lower centre) with the long driveway. This property belonged to the late singer Ronnie Hawkins from 1967 to 1975 and Hawkins hosted John Lennon and Yoko Ono for an extended stay in late 1969. Legend has it that Lennon worked on the song Imagine while staying on the property. And to think some people call Mississauga boring!

There's a townhouse unit right behind the plaza at 4099 Erin Mills parkway and the owners always put on a magical display at Halloween and Christmas. While not a great shot, here's to wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!
Something I just like about this shot from this afternoon over the QEW just east of Mississauga rd. There's a dirty/clean aspect of it along with a sort of chaotic element with the fire truck parked askew and the construction debris in the lower portion of the frame. The hydro wires create a division as well as texture element. There's even a vomit aspect with absorb-all soaking up the leaked fluids from the crashed vehicles.
This mosque (ninth line just south of Dundas st) has been "under construction" for years. It looks like they have made some progress since I last photographed it years ago.
Other random shots of the plant which ended production in April of 2024:
Someone was having some fun in the snow on one of the non-publicly accessible lots.
I have watched this lot gradually fill up since August with various work platforms/tooling I suppose in preparation for F-Series Super Duty pickup truck production. Electric SUV production, originally planned in a $1.8 Billion expansion, has been shelved.
