Duke of York, living arts, square one drive all fit the roundabout criteria.
Duke of York is built for Sq On Dr leaving LAC unless Sq One wants to create Ring Roads on their Land. Confederation is out of the question with the LRT on it without placing crossing gates for the LRT that I have seen in the US.

More traffic lights coming to MCC with lights in place at Burnhamthorpe and Exchange Road but not turn on, They will be turn on with the exterior work is done on T2 later this year. You may see one At City Center intersection.

There is an EA out for extending City Centre to Hurontario/Absolute intersection with the N-S section becoming City View. To create an intersection for City Centre and City View will require the removal of 50 City Centre which is partly empty office space and part of the master plan to redeveloped the whole block. What is not known, will City View connect to Burnhamorpe with a full intersection or a right in and out because of the LRT.

There are a number of locations in Mississauga that could use an Roundabout

Elm and kariya gate would have worked well.

There are some roundabouts near Bolton that are two-lane, despite the surrounding roads only having one lane in each direction. The lanes merge shortly after leaving the roundabout.
I'm pretty sure I remember it being the same case at Ninth Line and Burnhamthorpe, which I think is in Oakville

Ninth Line is now own by Mississauga and as well the land east of 403/407.

As for Bolton, been decades since I was up there and no needs to do so these days

Elm and kariya gate would have worked well.
It would work as Kariya will be extended to Central some day considering it was to be built along with Elm School.

Is City View the new name or do you mean extension of Centre View?

It would have to be City View or X with City Centre going to Hurontario

They may just leave it as is. To this day, the north-south section of Matheson Blvd between Matheson Blvd East and Eglinton is still called Matheson Blvd, which is one of the dumbest things I can think of. It should have been renamed when Matheson was completed.

The small piece to the west, between Renforth and the Mississauga border is also called just Matheson Blvd. Different directions, street types, and numbering are pretty normal when roads cross a municipal border. See also Burnhamthorpe, Bloor (which is Bloor West in Toronto, but only Bloor West in Mississauga) and Lakeshore (and then there's Rathburb ... Lol). See also King Street North, South, West, East, .... and the second King West and east (in Cambridge), just south of King East in Kitchener (which becomes Shantz Hill Road in Cambridge).

I don't think anything would be gained by renaming it. But I'll propose "Notmississauga Road".

A lot of the time it's just easier to not rename things. In Kitchener in less than 1.5 km the same road has 3 names you go from Wellington to Shirley Ave to Bingemans Centre Blvd (this later continues on and becomes Lackner and then another street).

Then you obviously have the mess that is King N/S/W/E. Or even Weber N/S/W/E which then becomes King E thanks to Hwy 8 making King E discontinuous in Kitchener.

In Cambridge you have King W/E to Coronation Blvd to Dundas N/S.

Overtime it just becomes a quirk of the urban fabric that everyone knows.

And yet I had an Uber coming the other day that seemed to get lost for a while trying to navigate Lower vs Upper Gerrard. Before we cancelled and redid it.
That is surprising given how rideshare drivers slavishly follow their GPS apps

This is still in early stage where a few options will be look at but the thinking for the intersection will be a square corner and the present curve remove. By removing the curve you are creating two different roads that cannot have the same name.

We will have to wait until a public meeting is held as well designs for the propose extension of City Centre to see what may happen as to how the current City Centre N-S will connect to the extension.

If the new intersection become square, it will give OMERS a chance to change the parking structure and look at putting development on top of it which I love to see happen.

I had two bad experience using the GPS this summer since I did not know the area nor how to get to where I wanted to go in the first place. I wanted to go to Williamsport PA and ended up in Williamsport MD same distance and travel time as PA. It took me another 8 hours to get to Williamsport PA from Williamsport MD as it had me heading to Pittsburgh and keep saying the route after stopping for gas and food and reenter my destination. I ended up back tracking after I check the map on the phone to get an idea where I was. Very rare I use the GPS for traveling since I better at reading maps and a good judgement where I am going,

I have try it for local a few times just to see what the route would be as well traveling time and said it was wrong as I knew a better route that was faster. In one case it had me going the wrong way down a one way street that i knew was wrong in the first place.

Yeah I get names change across municipal borders. I have no issue with that. In Toronto it's The Queensway. In Mississauga, it's just Queensway.

But that little north-south section of Matheson Boulevard means that there is literally an intersection of Matheson Blvd (E) with Matheson Blvd. Is it not a bit ridiculous to have Matheson intersect with Matheson?

I'm confused where that is. I thought we were talking about east of Renforth. But that's just a big long curve. Do you have a URL?
