Really hope Kettle Island Bridge is built so we can pedestrianize two more blocks of Nicholas. Obviously Besserer and Daly will need to stay, and hopefully the parking structure built in 2006 will be gone to remove that entrance/exit.

Hopefully also restore King Edward to its former grandeur as well!

Was walking around at a time of day during traffic, but I still managed to take a few pics this past weekend

Looks really good. Unfortunately the nearby road traffic ruins the area somewhat, otherwise I would imagine that there’d be a lot of people using their balconies and taking advantage of the front courtyard. I suspect that the bistro/cafe that they build into the old facade will do well

Wish they had built stairs and an elevator to go up the the Mackenzie-King Bridge. At least an elevator since we have stairs on the other side. People can still go through the Rideau Centre, but it's a roundabout way and not always open.

Really nice looking project. Love the frosted glass on the balconies. And the black of the tower plays a nice contrast to the brick podium and makes the Rideau Registry building stand out. Such a good project
