The loop is going to get a lot longer with Fort Sask and Sherwood Park accessible via shared use paths.

I had no idea that the bridge is now open. I was expecting a grand opening with the City Councillor, the Mayor of Edmonton, the Premier of Alberta, the Prime Minister of Canada and the King of Canada standing together and cutting the ribbon.

Bridge was not open this weekend. Fencing is still up. However I know of one person who did cycle across it. The gate was left unlocked and she road across.

They moved construction fencing from beyond the 167 Ave trailhead parking lot to the access to the parking lot. I'm hoping it's just them demobilizing.

Confirming the trail is still closed on the Edmonton side, although it looks like the approach is paved.

Wish they would at least reopen the MUP so we could do a loop again.

The construction fencing on the south has been breached. So many people on the path on bicycle, foot, scooter, even inline skis yesterday.
