Interesting that China doesn't even make top 5 for the US. China is #3 for Canada, and I was surprised to learn Nigeria and Cameroon round out the top 5.

Who's going to make them all "go"? This is what their country is now.
It's really hard to know what the tipping point will be ; we've had close ones that probably would have sunk previous administrations. All I'm saying is that national fascists states or despotic tyrannies have succumbed either to internal forces or to external forces. The most recent have succombed to external forces because the tryannies have have shut down oppositional voices in their realms. We can imagine what external forces could or would defang American hegemony, or what internal forces are still operative to neuter MAGA. I suppose the mid-terms may clarify which path is most likley.

Trump seems to be dropping a bunch of hints that he is about to take control of Washington DC as of tomorrow. Telling the homeless and migrants to leave and that they will be relocated "far away" from the capital.

US military preparing for National Guard activation in Washington D.C., officials say

The U.S. military is preparing for the activation of hundreds of National Guard troops to Washington, D.C., two U.S. officials told Reuters on Sunday.
The officials, who were speaking on the condition of anonymity, said a final decision was still to be made by U.S. President Donald Trump but the troops were prepared to deploy. One of the officials said it was unclear what exactly the troops would do, but could take part in efforts to protect federal agents or even carry out administrative tasks to free up law enforcement officials.

BREAKING:
President Trump announces that he is invoking section 740 of the Home Rule Act.
Section 740 gives the President of the United States the authority to commandeer the DC Police Department in “conditions of an emergency nature.”
The president also confirms he is deploying the National Guard to DC.

The supposed 'emergency' is lawlessness/ out of control crime.........

Hmmm

Now, don't get me wrong........DC almost certainly continues to have a level of violence in its most challenged areas that would offend Canadian sensibilities.

But by American standards, there is no 'Emergency'.

****

Outside of general purpose trolling as Trump is wont to do..........he appears to have had a couple 'triggers' here.

Which is illegal because there is no real emergency. And perceived and/or imagined shouldn't cut that, at all...

...but in a lawless society, they don't really care if it's illegal or not. Only if it suits their ambitions and objectives. /bleh

He has been taking liberal use of the terms 'emergency', ' invasion' and 'national security' since the beginning of his term. Over the past number of years, Congress has enabled greater Executive authority under certain conditions, but failed to adequately define those conditions, establish meaningful rules surrounding them or providing for oversight for the normally-Congressional authority they devolved. They assumed a President wouldn't be an authoritarian toddler. They assumed wrong. Like it or not, our Emergencies Act has a lot more checks and balances.

On a related note, he vows to end 'no cash bail' (just in a couple of cites, apparently). I'm not that up on US jurisprudence but will assume that the administration of criminal justice is a state-level matter. Then again, their Constitution is only a series of suggestions to this administration.

It's like Big Balls was a little boy crying to Daddy about being bullied at school; so Daddy sent some goons to rough up the bully and his parents.
Big Balls was a false flag. People don't run around mugging people while yelling pro-Kamala slogans.

The administration is looking for their own Reichstag Fire and are trying their best to fabricate one.
