I agree. I would trade the retail for main floor units opening to the street, tho. There's no lack of retail around there, with it being directly behind Unity Square and just blocks away from other retail on 104 ave, so I feel like making it feel more urban with units opening to the street would be amazing, and do wonders for the feeling of liveliness of the area.

Yes, lets be smart about this. We don't need more new buildings with empty retail space now. Unless this is in an area with a lot of street front activity or no other retail nearby

Big time improvement. Make sure it's quality materials similar to Stadium Yards, and this can turn out quite nicely.

I'm very happy about this. 800 people in the exact perfect location for the very cool commercial area developing behind MacEwan. And 800 people directly along the Valley Line.

I would guess this brings closer to 1000 new residents if their unit sizes and ratio of 2bdrms is similar to other 105ave buildings.
