Those problems seem minor. Why does it take 1.2M just to renovate a small entrance? You could build several houses for that amount. Gross negligence is what this is. It's public money, so why not waste it right?

One month delay = 1 year delay with all the paper-work that must be done.

So this little project has managed to go 40% over budget to $1.2 million? Amazing.

It's open today. It seems that yorkville BIA wanted to make an event out of it, so, fittingly, they outfitted it as if it was an entrance to a club, complete with women, a black carpet and line cues, and even a bouncer.

I am not making this up.
