I'm confused by this. Are there going to be 4 houses in total on these 4 lots, or 8?
I'd assume 8, otherwise it seems like a waste to tear down 2 semis just to rebuild 2 semis

I pass by this often, love the spiral staircase! I think it's a mixed commerical/residential property, if memory serves. Pretty recent renovation though so I suspect it was made possible by the new multiplex zoning rules

Neat cohousing multiplex community in Vancouver. I think this is a lovely way of making condominium housing more community oriented.
