Seeing CafeTO barriers pop up along parts of Queen West and Dundas West, but nothing yet in the Junction, which usually has an intense concentration of them just west of Keele - why the delay?

Hopefully it's just that the city hasn't finished processed the permits yet, which began April 15 and goes until June 1. The CafeTO Map shows there are only a handful of "curb lane cafes" (vs sidewalk cafes) along King St between Bathurst and University, and nowhere else in the city so hopefully it's just a matter of time. The city's page states they will have 90% of installations complete by the Victoria Day long weekend.

It could be that the establishments up there didn't choose to participate this year.

Not saying that's the case but it is a possibility.

Not that we've had a particularly patio-friendly season either.
