Well, getting closer to downtown at least. This is the sort of thing that would be in a prominent downtown location in many other cities, but unfortunately Edmonton is still so suburban focused.

Huh? This site is exceptionally urban and ideal for a project such as this. It's great to see the UofA/Garneau/Windsor growing, becoming more amenity and housing rich and i'd give anything for 5 more of these in and around the UofA Hospital, 87ave, 109st.

I would love to see more highrises around and East of 109st into Strathcona as well. Two dense urban footprints split between a massive green ribbon; Edmonton's skyline has so much potential.

This, along with the Garneau neighbourhood renewal has made such a difference in the area. It'd be nice if 112/114 Street and 87 Ave in the area also gets some sort of renewal in the coming years to make the streetscape better.

According to the published routes, 87 Ave will have BRT running down it so I imagine we could see it getting redone as part of that.
