There are some homes that are stains on the profession of architecture. Do you like stains?

Come on by, and buy the blight by the lake for $3 million:

Well I have seen worse, but clearly bigger is not always better. I realize that colour and style was quite popular some time ago and is not now, so I am guessing this is not new.

A change in paint colour might actually help quite a bit, add some accent stone or brick to make it a bit more interesting and it could be decent.

I don't think anything would help. This is one situation where I'd loooove it if Regency bought it and did their usual 😂

Some well off people still have taste. I believe this was featured in the Globe and Mail Real Estate section a while ago, so the good (and the not so good) here also sometimes does get noticed elsewhere too.

They say the devil is in the details and the devil got the details mostly right on this one (although it's a bit too stark for me personally) with the exception of the height of the round makeup mirror above the chair in the master bath.

Noticed that too. Maybe they have a long torso

Personally, I really prefer the character of older homes like this which seldom seems to be duplicated in newer ones. Often places are a lot cheaper in smaller places like this, but of course t is very different lifestyle there and you may not have many of the amenities or atmosphere you would in a bigger place.

It could make a good vacation home for someone who would like to spend part of the year in a warmer and smaller place. Even when you do the exchange conversion it is still not that expensive. However some things like home insurance are more expensive in Florida.
