What many people don't understand is that most of the people purchasing these houses aren't overly concerned about the interiors being "dated". They have the means to make whatever improvements they want. They are buying for other reasons mainly neighbourhood cache/location.
 
Heck, a lot of people of all income levels who buy or build a home design it corresponding to trends or fashion at the time. The big difference is buyers of luxury homes can more easily afford to change it when those trends or fashion go out of style or become dated. Almost anything shiny and new now will appear somewhat dated in a decade or two.

Soulless is the perfect description
Way too many blank white walls, but it has potential to be improved. I would start by hanging some art and pictures on those huge empty walls.

However, the windowless bedroom really sucks, is that for the foreign worker nannys?
