I know property ownership and all, but it's kind of sad that a strip of dense woods was cut down while across the street is a strip of useless grass and surface parking.

Was in the area the other day, some good progress being made! The area has a lot of potential. I hope Claridge starts on their towers here soon but I have somewhat lost hope on that lol.

It's 350+ units in the heart of Kanata, walkable to grocery, transit, etc.

I like it too but would rather skyscrapers than all these sidescrapers and preserve some of the forest there.

My hope is that once the LRT to Kanata is actually in motion, we’ll see a lot of the empty space in that area filled with skyscrapers, I know Claridge has a proposal already but I think it’s just a matter of time.

Side note but they should really speed up the March rd BRT to the tech park so it can be upgraded to an LRT sooner.

I honestly don't understand why they haven't started with the skyscrapers in anticipation of the LRT.
.We need the housing, they are already approved, and as is there is already a walkable neighbourhood there with grocery, transit, etc. right at Centrum.
Just start building already!
