Have they had reliability issues with the Alexander Dennis'? Or is it more the operations?
Depending on who you talk to, the DDSs aren’t the most reliable or best quality. The DDLs were apparently worse and that played a part in GO getting rid of all of them during COVID.

Cab car 253 has been repainted, but not refurbished. Saw it in service last month and confirmed it after a friend had it yesterday.

See 1:21. Did the GO Bus provide home pickup in the 1970s?

BTW, Jane Jacobs, the Patron Saint of gentrification shows up in that vid.
This was a Dial-A-Bus trial service in the 70s. It’s funny, now it’s back in the form of On-Demand by various transit agencies.

If anyone wants to see one of GO’s electric Enviro500ev double deckers, one is on display at this year’s CNE.

The ones that never see service?

What is the point of displaying them if they don't work??:p:p
I thought it was a bit weird too. The public is going to naturally want to know when they can ride one.

I mean they could also be so short of equipment to make service that taking a revenue bus out for the CNE display might be difficult.

Really? They can't spare one bus?

I don’t know with certainty that’s the reason, but they are definitely low on buses.

From someone who saw it today: apparently it doesn’t have the electric wrap on it.

I’m curious to see if there is anything mentioning it’s electric at all.

Edit: you can still see the electric wrap.

214 has resurfaced, it's on the tail end of an L6 currently headed by 564.

Who wants to place bets on how long until it vanishes again?
