EDIT: Confirmed to be cab car 206, last car in the consist right behind the engine facing east

Not sure if the 2606 coach sitting at the north end of Obeco siding is the same one last reported or another that I saw on Sunday waiting to be pickup

219 was a coach on an eastbound Lakeshore train on Sunday

Did see another of the old cabs on the rear of an eastbound train at Simcoe, but too far away to see the number

And since MPI is no longer around, and EMD's passenger locomotive was a failure that leaves us with the Siemens charger? Which has a year backlog at least. So what does that leave us with? Something we haven't seen yet?
Whoa, I completely missed this. But with electrification on the horizon, will GO need new diesel locos? Can they rebuild the existing stock as needed?

Guessing once it will be refurbished it will regain it's cab controls

And here it is! (Image not mine)

So here's something interested that was found.

Seeming to be cataloged sometime in 2018, likely for the Amtrak bid, GE (now Wabtec) appeared to model a modernized version of the Genesis locomotive know as the P47AC. While it was not chosen, it still could be available as it was built in Erie.

It could be another option for GO's locomotive bid.

That’s an excellent find! The fact that it is a tri-axle is a little weird however. GO has enough adhesion issues as is, I would hope they pick a dual axle locomotive.

Considering the outer shell seems to be based off of the HSP46, a 4 axle locomotive, I think a 4 axle version could be built.

Giving Boston issues with their 40 MPI HSP46 locomotives, Metrolinx have some tough calls to make for this model.
