This line is not close to be open cone Dec 7 or Dec 15 with all kinds of construction material along the street as well the cycling lanes out of service. Then you got the mest at York Gate that can take 10 minutes to west from Jane and 3-10 minutes to east depending how backup the left turn lane.

Most of all, scheduling and headway all over the place with the line been very slow. Looks like TTC was trying to maintain a 10 minute schedule that work at times to 3-15 minutes other times. Until there is a few weeks of maintaining a 10 minute headway, it will be seen as a mistake to have this line in place of existing buses or a BRT.

Pass an eastbound car that caught up to me at Albion Rd and was 10 minutes behind me when I hit the 400 stop doing the speed limit. Only made it as far as Jane with videos and photos that will follow later.

Did see a crew picking up pillions going west and still a large amount of them to be pickup. Did noticed in a few places that the curb still had asphalt in place of concrete.

Having watched both Line 5 and 6 being built as well operating so far as well the Hurontario LRT, LRT on the surface in the GTAH will not work with the current thinking of Transportation planners as welll transit planners. As much as I hate to say this, time to move to elevated lines as traffic is killing transit and creating longer travel time for riders.

As a note, I call them stations.

From a board meeting document on Metronlinx's website:

The document was posted in advance of Metrolinx's board meeting on Nov. 27th.

Metrolinx removed the link to that presentation slide BTW.
Fear not - there's also a copy at https://www.scribd.com/document/952...ransit-Capital-Projects-Progress-FINAL-ENG-Mx

@atakagi1

It's still working for me. There is just a LOT of traffic on the site so it might not load for some.
I thought it was still working for me too - but then I opened it in an incognito window, and it didn't work. So it was just my browser caching stuff.

Once again, the Revenue Service Demonstration period is over and they are training another class of operators right now. They aren't adhering to any schedule because they don't need to. As for the construction material along the street, so long as it isn't in the LRT right-of-way that work doesn't affect whether this line is ready to open or not. If the TYSSE is any example, they will still be doing remedial work long after the line is open for revenue service.

Thanks. Hoping something official gets announced soon, though it would only make sense given the TTC already started updating the maps and advertising Line 6.
I wouldn't be surprised if there's a last minute press conference tomorrow (Friday), given that Metrolinx leaked the date. Though, various media outlets reported that the date was December 7 last month.

The link in my post works for the moment. I think what @TwoWheelPoli means is that the slideshow has disappeared from Metrolinx's documents page, which is where I first found it. Fortunately, I was expecting that and downloaded a copy of the file. It's nice to see @nfitz had the same thought. There were 12 documents originally posted, and now only nine show. I will double check which others have been taken down, and post copies if @nfitz hasn't beaten me to it.

I can’t access any of the board documents for the upcoming meeting :(

Looking at https://www.metrolinx.com/en/about-us/document-centre the only link that still works is the agenda! - https://assets.metrolinx.com/image/...ovember_27_2025_Board_of_Directors_Agenda.pdf

I don't have copies of any of the other reports.
