How confirmed is it that this line is opening December 7 (less than 3 weeks away)?
The answer is: not at all.How confirmed is it that this line is opening December 7 (less than 3 weeks away)?
Right now they aren’t adhering to any schedule as they are getting in one more class of trainees before opening. As for the real-time displays they aren’t hooked into the real-time system yet as the vehicles aren’t either. So for now they are using a test dataset.November 16
Took a trip to Line 6 today to shoot a video of the line from end to end but the filming stop ome minute after I started the trip from Hwy 27 to Keele and did not noticed it had stop recoding. Had no issues with videos that were just shot before and after this run and will have to do it again.
Not sure what schedule TTC was using, but it was all over the place based on the LRV's on the line as well the next vehicle time..
The amount of construction barriers along the route at this stage is unreal but it shouldn't have any impact for the line opening in December, Cycles still out of luck trying to use their lanes. No work on the CPKC bridge undepass yet, Not sure if the roadwork on the road that pass the OMSF is effecting outbound cars from the yard to the point they may have to exit the yard by the in bound tracks.
This is the 2nd day shooting videos with Canon R7 that was on top of the dashboad. I hit the record button like all the other ones I shot and fail to check it as I drove east. .I got one minute of video out of the 15 minute trip. Its way better than the Mark II and the P950. If I could get parts for the Sony 400V, would continue to use it not only for videos but photographing since it has a 50 zoom. That happens to me all the time! I suspect I'm double clicking the start button, or hitting it while holding the camera. I'll bet expensive cameras have better controls, so this doesn't happen.
Methinks the proofreader was on break!Métro de Queen??? What?
No reason why line 5 cannot be 7/24 from day one that will see long headway at night. if issues come up that requires a track or a sect of track taken out of service for work you still can run service in both directions on the same time with headway a little longer than night time service.Going by signage I've seen, it's my understanding that Eglinton Crosstown LRT will run 24 hours, which surprised me. Now I'm even more surprised that Finch West LRT will not.![]()
Your understanding is incorrect. The TTC will continue to run overnight buses on Eglinton.Going by signage I've seen, it's my understanding that Eglinton Crosstown LRT will run 24 hours, which surprised me.
Another situation that demonstrates the superiority of the 24 hour clock, at least for transit. There are so many different messages on this.Saw this on Reddit:

Métro de Queen??? What?
And Triplinx no longer exists.
Also "Saturday PM" service starts at 5:59 AM?
Blue night 336 runs from Woodbine Racetrack to Yonge basically every 20 minutes 1:50-5am..No reason why line 5 cannot be 7/24 from day one that will see long headway at night. if issues come up that requires a track or a sect of track taken out of service for work you still can run service in both directions on the same time with headway a little longer than night time service.
Does Line 6 have all night service today for buses??
The operating hours sounds right. It supposed to match the subway hours.Saw this on Reddit:
