@Metroscapes There's some reporting that they're using the time to train more operators on Finch. Though it's unfortunate that it wasn't done earlier.
Part of that was because when the TTC wanted to do it, the contractor building the line was refusing access to the TTC because they were trying to sue Metrolinks, so they could pick an operator instead of having the TTC be named it by Metrolinks

Hey, they might run faster trains if they did so.

Hold on a minute, did they forget who owns the line? Do these pesky garbage contractors actually think they can hold the public ransom?

So more money related bullshit.....typical

Wow... seriously?

Why was this even a topic of discussion for the contractors...

I know they werent happy with ttc checking their work or whatever, but to try and then replace them as operator seems a step too far to me.

Took a trip to Line 6 today to shoot a video of the line from end to end but the filming stop ome minute after I started the trip from Hwy 27 to Keele and did not noticed it had stop recoding. Had no issues with videos that were just shot before and after this run and will have to do it again.

Not sure what schedule TTC was using, but it was all over the place based on the LRV's on the line as well the next vehicle time..

The amount of construction barriers along the route at this stage is unreal but it shouldn't have any impact for the line opening in December, Cycles still out of luck trying to use their lanes. No work on the CPKC bridge undepass yet, Not sure if the roadwork on the road that pass the OMSF is effecting outbound cars from the yard to the point they may have to exit the yard by the in bound tracks.

That happens to me all the time! I suspect I'm double clicking the start button, or hitting it while holding the camera. I'll bet expensive cameras have better controls, so this doesn't happen.
