Location looks very inviting. Too bad it will be next to a nasty 5 lane stroad. 87 Avenue needs conversion to bus lanes or a road diet.
Wrong thread, it's here:New development proposed for Windsor Park. @IanO , on camera and in print.

Proposed residential tower near U of A would rise 27 storeys
A residential tower will rise close to the main University of Alberta campus if a proposal by a local developer is approved by the City of Edmonton.www.ctvnews.ca
I was wondering, is it still possible to post new buildings on here? I've also noticed some completed buildings are not updated. Do we have a mod that manages this? - Happy to help if I can
yeah, I know, there are a few buildings that don't come up on the map. Is there a reason why that happens? Where do you find them if they are not on the map?Wrong thread, it's here:

Do we know if its possible to become a new moderator ? I might be able to help lighten the load. Or is this something Skyrise does?Sadly the map is rarely updated, it can only be done by moderators and I think there's only one person doing that these days. If something isn't on the map, you have to just use the search function to find the thread.
I really hope this happens.Do we know if its possible to become a new moderator ? I might be able to help lighten the load. Or is this something Skyrise does?
It is for sure. Lots of new custom homes are using it.Hopefully the business works out for them. Not sure about the cabinets though. Is 1980's oak cabinetry like those coming back into style?
Given how many talented mural artists we have in the city, it also feels a bit like a cop-out. Stantec did awesome and hired Jill Stanton. There are a tonne of wonderful examples of local artists in Kingsway Mall. You'd think they'd have done better than put up what amounts to a "live, love, laugh" stencil, but hey, maybe times are tough. And it's not ugly, just...forgettable.I don't believe that quarter sawn red oak shaker panels are as popular as they have been in the past (appears to be what the designer used). Flush rift sawn white oak cabinet panels I believe are more popular in high end contemporary design today. Not sure that the track lighting works that well with the art deco flooring or the industrial style staircase. However, if the design is going to be roasted, it's the wall murals that are the biggest error in the design imo. The "love people......love coffee" inscription with the leaves on the wall is terribly dated. It's like signage artwork that say "KITCHEN" or some other catch phrase that's been around since 1995. So does the design pass? Sure. Is it great? No.
