I really love how this has completely transformed the look of the area. I remember driving into this same area a few years ago and it felt very run down and so far from Commonwealth Stadium. Now with lovely buildings, connection to the Stadium/Rec center and a new LRT station, this area is finally seeing its potential.
This could honestly sit right at home with some of the mid-rises going up in North Vancouver and Vancouver. Not my favourite style, but still very well done.
I truly think Rohit knocked this one out of the park. I'm extremely excited to see it once the majority of the construction clears up and it's fully landscaped. What a revelation for this area.
Further to my comment on being hopeful they can do more, it is encouraging to see developers such as Rohit, Primavera and Beljan and not just the monetary investment, but the care in the investment they have for the community. We have debated on here about certain developers that continue to disregard lots or put up developments like 121, but having scanned through Rohit's website I came across an entire section they have on giving back to the community and I think that's cool. Certainly separates those that are investing in a product for the community versus investing in a product strictly for the dollar.
